Fall Pizza Party

Matt Hans, chef/owner of Wood Fired Pizza, is back for an al fresco evening of delicious artisanal pizza. The aroma of seasonally inspired pizzas will entice you to sit back and relax with a glass of wine. Six varieties of handcrafted pizza, salad and dessert will be served. Everyone will enjoy the pizza-making demonstration and the imported Italian stove which sits on the back of his bright red 1956 Ford flatbed truck.

Flavors of New Orleans

Lisa Brisch jazzes up your taste buds with this outstanding Cajun menu. Enjoy Baked Brie Cups with Olive Pesto, Seared Romaine Hearts Salad with Caesar Dressing, Short Ribs Jambalaya and Sauteed Leeks and Greens. Dessert will be Pepsi Cola Cake with Chocolate Caramel Sauce. The good times will roll tonight!

Autumnal Eastern Shore Dinner

This celebration of Chesapeake Bay cuisine is nothing short of spectacular! Peter Fontaine will prepare Local Dove with Roasted Apples and Corn, Oyster-Pumpkin Pan Stew with Thyme, Seaweed Roasted Rockfish and Red Potatoes and Early Season Venison with Double Smoked Bacon and Preserved Onions. We did not forget dessert! Enjoy Indian Corn Pudding with Honey Whipped Cream for the grand finale to this gourmet dinner.

Learn how to prepare Wild Mushroom Lasagna, Composed Salad of Autumn Greens with Maple Mustard Vinaigrette, Braised Beef Brisket with Burgundy Wine Gravy over Melted Turnips and Grilled Pound Cake with Ice Cream from La Michoacana in Kennett.

Fun & Fine Food Shopping Trip to NYC!

Our fall gourmet shopping excursion is a wonderful way to conveniently stock your pantry for holiday entertaining. Grab a quick cup of coffee with us, load your cooler on the bus and we're off! Perhaps, pick up a few babka (chocolate or cinnamon) and bagels and smoked salmon at Zabar's on the Upper West Side of the city. And then, peruse all manner of delectable Italian breads, pasta and charcuterie at Eataly, a colossal fine food emporium owned by Chef Mario Battali. Seasonal fruit and vegetables are plentiful at our next stop, the Union Square Farmers' Market. The beautiful array of crisp apples, pears, squash and greens are a pleasure to behold in the outdoor venue. Everything is organic and sourced from Hudson Valley farms. As always, we include a visit to Little Italy. Espresso, Italian pastry and cookies at Ferrara's, perhaps? And a favorite quick stop at Doughnut Plant! We depart the store parking lot at 7:30 a.m. sharp and leave NYC between 5 and 5:30 p.m. Your fee includes transportation on a new luxury coach bus and a knowledgeable expert guide. They will begin with a delectable Salumi Platter, followed by Tuscan Soup, Chicken and Sausage Ragu and Braised Beans with Cured Meat. Dessert will be Candied Bacon and Banana Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting. Maiale sausages will be available for purchase this evening.
